For many years Benefitz has provided Scholarships for the leading Design Students in a number of the local North Shore secondary schools. The Benefitz team see this as a way of contributing to the local community and to the future of their industry.

The recipients of the Benefitz Design Scholarships each receive a certificate and $1000 towards their ongoing studies. Recipients are chosen by their respective schools based on their overall efforts in design during the year and their desire to pursue design as a career.

Nicole Canuto was the Westlake Girls High School recipient of a Benefitz Design Scholarship in 2018. She is pictured receiving her certificate from Blake Douglas of Benefitz.

Nicole plans to study graphic design at AUT University in 2019.
