Your local specialists in AgePlus

Making daily living easier

AgePlus is a not-for-profit, community focused organisation committed to making daily living easier.  Empowering people living with impairments to keep their independence.  Your local team of consultants Ann, Debe and Nathalia are devoted to providing you with stress free consultations and advice, assistive products and services that work for you, so you can live the life you want.

AgePlus was founded 5 years ago by the Binzeggers, providing a range of services and equipment to enhance positive aging.  Earlier this year the Binzeggers’ returned home to Switzerland, and AgePlus became a division of Independent Living Service Charitable Trust (ILS).  ILS is a not for profit organisation with the same core principles as AgePlus, and have been serving Aucklanders from Franklin to Rodney for 36 years.  They’re committed to continuing support for the Browns Bay and North Shore Communities through their long-standing networks.  ILS also has stores in Royal Oak and Botany with extensive showrooms and specialist Information Consultants.  Including a specialist Asian Information team speaking Mandarin, Cantonese and Korean.
As we get closer to spring, many of us are thinking about getting out and about a bit more.  AgePlus stock a selection of scooters so you can do just that, and get around with ease.  They can even organise an in-home demonstration for you with the Mobile Information and Equipment Service.  This friendly service comes to your home and assists with selecting the right scooter or power chair, that best suits your needs and home environment.  The Mobile Service also provides tailored presentations and demonstrations to a wide variety of Auckland’s communities; community groups, retirement villages, social and disability support groups.
As a division of ILS, AgePlus stock and has access to an extensive range of affordable assistive products, information and services.  AgePlus are your specialists for kitchen aids to mobility aids, scooters, walkers and wheelchairs, to compression stockings and personal hygiene products.  They also provide short or long-term hireage on mobility equipment.  Talk with your AgePlus consultants today, or browse the ILS website from the comfort of your own home at www.ilsnz.org.
Your local AgePlus team members Ann, Debe and Nathalia are committed to making daily living easier for seniors, people with impairments, their families/whanau and support networks.   They look forward to meeting you, and continuing to serve the people of Browns Bay and North Shore communities.
