WELL Foundation: News

It is my great pleasure to share with you that Tim Edmonds has been appointed CEO of Well Foundation.

Tim has spent the past seven years at Cure Kids, starting as Research and Innovation Director before combining the role with General Manager of Cure Kids Fiji. He played a key role in establishing a number of significant partnership initiatives, including New Zealand’s first child cancer precision medicine clinical trial and an enhanced national rheumatic heart disease control and prevention programme in Fiji.

Tim’s career has spanned the university and health sectors with tenure’s at Lincoln University and the University of East London (UK), before moving into the health and philanthropic sector at Cure Kids.

Tim will begin with Well Foundation on 11th of  November 2019.

As the official charity for Waitematā District Health Board, our main focus for 2020 is to assist in building two new and expanded facilities to benefit the wider community. The Diagnostic Breast Service in North Shore and the Special Care Baby Unit in Waitakere Hospital's.

These major projects with completion anticipated to be in 2020, will help us to meet the future needs of our growing community.

I look forward to Tim coming on board and I am sure that he will play a significant role, with all our partners and supporters, to accelerate advancing healthcare for our community.
