The Little Yellow Digger at The PumpHouse

With over a year in the making, Tim Bray Productions has brought North Shore couple Betty and the late Alan Gilderdale's classic stories of  'The Little Yellow Digger' to life on stage. Cleverly combining the series of books enjoyed by Kiwi kids for the over 20 years, the show was dedicated to the memory of Alan, who illustrated the series. Children, dressed in their hard hats and safety vests, giggled along with the cast as they watched Douglas (played by Laura Sanderson), Bob (Jared Kirkwood) and Mr Lacky (Jason Wu) get themselves out of trouble with the help of the  'Little Digger' at the premier night at The Pumphouse.
