I’m a Father. I carry snapshots in my wallet where my money used to be. This picture is one of them. It’s worth a fortune. It reminds me that anyone can be a Father but it takes a special person to be a Dad. After all, a Dad is banker, provided by nature.
This Father’s Day I’d like to invite Channel Magazine readers to bank some nature with their Dad’s. It’s “Float a Father Day” at Stand Up South Pacific and were offering a variety of opportunities to enjoy a SUPer day with Dad at Takapuna Beach.

Book that special day today by choosing either:
•    A $50 Private 1 hour SUP lesson for Dad (All equipment included plus photos).
•    A $75 Private 2 hour SUP lesson for Dad (All equipment included plus photos).
•    A Family package private SUP lesson for $25 per person per hour minimum 3 people (All equipment included plus photos).
OR: Just Hire a Stand Up Paddle Board for $35 per hour and let Dad loose (All equipment included plus photos).
These Father’s Day Specials apply right through the month of September.

If after paddling... Daddy Needs a Drink!
Look for the same titled book online and read about some of our adventures.
To supply Daddy with that drink or anyone else in the floaters family, please try MY “Father’s Day Floater” recipe:

Father’s Day Floater

Ingredients:
¼  oz Grand Manier (not marnier)
¼  oz Baileys Irish Cream (Bliss will do as a substitute)
¼  oz Tequila (reason the Mexican pushed his wife off the cliff)
½  oz Dark Rum (this is a kiwi ½ oz: spilling permitted)
½  oz Dark Crème De Cacao (chocky milk that kicks)
½  oz  Fresh Cream. (ask the cow 1st, offer a drink 2nd)
A dash of triple sex or bitters (depends on the mood of the Missus)

Preparation:
Skull two cold beers before mixing ingredients. Light the BBQ. Mix the ingredients any way you like being sure to multiply the ingredients proportionally in relation to how many of you want a floater and how floated you wanna get. Optional Ingredient if the kids are monkey’ing around driving you bananas. Add 1 oz blended bananas. Serve and repeat.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY... I guarantee it!
